I had a beautiful boxer ‘Pepper’ for 10 years, she was always this gentle with our two children too, I will never have any other dog, it’s a shame they don’t live longer, the heartbreak is terrible:-(

When I was a little child we had a boxer too and it was the best friend I ever had. I never heard of a boxer hurting or killing a child, but still, there is a first time for everything. Other dogs have already killed little children when the parents didn’t pay attention.

Caution to the parents of the child and the owner of the boxer! The “Paw on the Hand” is a display of Dominance. The child only needs to annoy the dog and the dog will discipline the child, some times severely and sometimes can be fatal results. Ask any qualified dog expert! R.S.

my family has 2 …
my family has 2 boxers Sugar ray(get it, and Daisydoll, sugar ray will come in my room every night and sleep with me. hes 9 and daisy our “devil”is a year old:) im 13 and suggy(my nick name for him) will sleep together in a twin sized bed. its not so great in the winter time cuz ill be freezing and suggy will have every blanket on him:):)

yeah i totally agree, i lived and even slept with my pet boxer as a baby which shows you the dogs tolerance and protectiveness over the family.
however, a good owner, always gets the best out of his dog and the dog would show the owner up to be a great one.
however, the boxer dog can turn nasty. at my local scrapheap, my dad recalled a boxer dog who was left out in all weathers. He was so nasty and mistreated even as a guard dog, that he torn off a mans kneecap as he went to pet him.

lol yea when i was a baby like this i learned to walk by holding onto my boxer dogs tail and it would pull me up lol and if i went wandering my mum used to say my name and the dog went running to find me lol and bring me back but that dog has sinced passed away along time ago but got another boxer dog he’s under my blankets on my bed snoring his head off lmfao now he is barking in his sleep boxers are the best dogs even thow my dog is 6 years old i still call him a puppy
