my 6 year old dog has been clearing her throat lately and sometimes coughing. I was unable to do any thing about it for the first few weeks due to my own illness. it seems to be getting worse. i didn’t breed this dog!!! i have had her for about five months and she is showing pregnancy symptoms. while in this household, the only male dog she has been around is neutered. i am asking this to see if she could have had a one night stand 5 months ago and pregnancy symptoms are just showing up now. if not, i think it is safe to assume false pregnancy…
Dogs are pregnant for 58-63 days! If she got pregnant 5 months ago, she would have already had her litter, 3 months ago. It sounds like a false pregnancy. I would have her checked out by a vet.
