With $100 I must buy 100 pets. Dogs cost $15, cats cost $1, and mice cost $0.25. How many of each pet do I buy

Posted on March 7th, 2010 by admin

I have $100 and I must buy 100 pets using the money I have. Dogs cost $15 each, cats cost $1 each, and mice cost 25 cents each. I can not use more than $100 and I can’t buy over or less than 100 pets. It has to be exact. I have to buy at least 1 of each pet. How many of each pet do I buy?

Well it doesn’t say you can’t use less than $100 so buy 1 dog, 1 cat, and 98 rats

Do all dogs originate from the asian wolf? If so, why then can’t wolf be kept as pet like dog?

Posted on March 5th, 2010 by admin

I read somewhere on internet that all breeds of dog originate from asian wolf. If that is true, why can’t wolf be kept as pet?

Wolf is a dog too in appearance and physical features. So why are we only restricted to dogs?

wolves aren’t domesticated and therefore would be a danger to society.

can any suggest how to introduce two guide dogs to a normal but boistrous pet dog?

Posted on March 1st, 2010 by admin

a friend is blind and has to bring his guide dogs to my house when he vistis, while i have to leave my dog at family, is there a better option ?
he has two guide dogs because a guide dog works for a certain amount of years then they retire. the one guide dog is his retired guide dog and the other is his currently working one.

The guide dogs are highly trained to ignore dogs unless told that they can interact with them. If they are dog distracd during training they will get dropped and will not become full guide dogs. So the dogs should be all right so i think that you should just let the dogs all run around and play together so they begin to know each other. If that does not work then i would go with your original idea and putting your dog at someone elses house.. should it be your neighbor or family. Or you could borrow a kennel or buy one and just keep your dog in it. I am rasing guide dogs also and i have discovered that calm dogs make other dogs calmer. Hope i helped :) .

Pet deer-dog

Posted on February 27th, 2010 by admin

This is our pet deer Fern she’s a one year old orphaned whitetail doe who we adopted when she was one week old. She lives with us on our 9,000 acre private ranch in MI. When she was an infant we kept her in the house and as she grew we slowly transitioned her to living in the wild. Even though she is a free roaming animal she loves to come home to visit every morning for a nice meal and a good massage! She’s the sweetest thing. We love her.

Are German Sheperds good dogs to play with as a pet dog?

Posted on February 27th, 2010 by admin

I’m thinking of getting a German Sheperd. I like for it to go out in open fields and run get exercise, play and have a good time. Are these dogs energetic, and playful?

German Sheppard dogs were bred to herd livestock. But in the same dog you will find that they are a very loving, Protective family pet. But if you have never owned one you need to educate yourself about this breed. They are a very energetic dog. If you decide to get one you must put the dog in Obiediance classes. These dog even though can be a wonderful family dog they can be a very obstinant and dominant natured dog. The obiediance classes will create an unbreakable bond between you. But most important it will teach the dog to see you as it’s pack leader. This is crutial because the dog will see you as it’s lord and master and will respond to your commands with out hesitation. Another big benefit from O.B classes is that these dogs need alot of daily activity and mental stimulation and the classes provide this for him. But even when you are not at the classes you must be consistant and practice the obiediance drills on your own. The physical activity and mental stimulation that the dog gets from this will keep him well balanced and he will be more calm and stable when it’s time to just sit and relax in front of the fireplace. Socialization with other people and dogs is also a very vital part of the dogs overall personality development. Reason being is because they are very protective of their home and families you want to be able to take the dog places such as the dog park or on family outings and you don’t want a dog that will bark and show aggresion towards every one he sees. Now some people will tell you that if you socialize your dog alot that he will not be as protective of you and your family or home. They don’t know what they are taliking about. A dog that is properly socialized and for the most part friendly will still know when there is something not quite right. Especially a German Sheppard. I have 2 Shepards 1 German Shep and 1 Dutch Shep. The German is trained for police service work and the Dutch Shep is on his way to be. And they are both very stable, social, And loving dogs. They love my kids. Even kids that they have never been around can approch them. And the dogs are happy to let them pet them or throw the ball for them. Even adults can approch and the dogs will do nothing but sit there. And still when it come down to protecting me, my family,or my home, or when it’s time to go to work and catch a bad guy. They never fail me. (Best partner I ever had). I have been handling police k9’s for 12yrs and I know this breed to be one of the most intelegent, loving, protective, family dogs you can get. But they do need structure. So good luck. And I’m sure you will be satisfied if you decide to get one of these wonderful dogs.

What do married men and pet dogs have in common?

Posted on February 23rd, 2010 by admin

Apart from the leash and neutering I mean?

Well, they live longer than their wild brethren. Domestic dogs live longer than wolves and married men live longer than single men.

Is it worth it?

Wolves get to mate (with other wolves) whenever they want. Dogs also get to mate whenever they want. Unfortunately, they only get to mate with their owner’s leg.

The parallels here is potentially limitless, but there’s a good moon out and there’s hunting to be done.

Why do people in the pet/dog section always expect for owners to let their dogs live in their house?

Posted on February 21st, 2010 by admin

I see people in my neighborhood all the time have a dog house and their dogs are always outside in their dog house.

My friends all have dog houses in their backyard and let them sleep their.
I mean if it was a pup baby dog, I might understand or a small dog over all. But what if the are big, and you see they need to go outside?

Because dogs are pack animals and need to be with their family. That’s like sticking you outside to live in a dog house away from your family, you’re considered a ‘pack animal’ too I guess, because have you seen people who become isolated? They go crazyyy!
