Do pet dogs lick their as_ clean? I ask this question because I’m thinking of buying a pet dog?

Posted on October 11th, 2010 by admin

But after this following incident today with my neighbors pet dog I’m not sure.
Today I let my neighbors dog lick my hand and the dogs tongue smelled like S_it from an as_ and the tongue had tiny brown pieces on it.

It is said that a dog’s mouth is cleaner then a humans. So, keep that in mind. Oh, and with the number of people who don’t wash after wiping, it can be just as bad as shaking someone’s hand. Best to just wash after a licking, and never let them lick your face. It is so disgusting to watch people "kiss" their dogs.

Posted on July 18th, 2010 by admin

I have a dog in kennels in France waiting to come into the UK. She has had her jabs etc and has a pet passport. However the vet has put down the wrong cross breed on the passport. Can this be changed and how do I go about sorting that out ? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes it can be changed I had a similar problem where they spelt my last name wrong and i rang them up and I had to send it back and a couple of weeks later i got it back correctly.

How do you feel about Pacific Islanders in your community roasting and eating their pet dogs at parties?

Do you just accept the cultural difference?

i’ve noticed the bike paths are not as "soiled". that would explain it.

Is it possible to move our pet dogs from Malaysia to USA?

Posted on July 1st, 2010 by admin

Is it possible to bring pets into the US coz I wanna join my fiance, he loves my dogs, they are old dogs & nobody wants 2 take care of them when I’m gone. I wish I can take them w/ me. They are 3 Dalmatians, ages from 6 to 8, certified, microchipped w/ good medicals.

Yes, but you’ll need complete physical exams for them from a licensed veterinarian, immunization records and a health certificate for each one.

The US embassy in Kula Lampur can fill you in on all the details.

Carnivore pet lovers, why is it ok to eat cattle and sheep but not dogs and cats?

Posted on June 23rd, 2010 by admin

Animal welfare would prosecute any cruelty to animals"pets" in most countries it is unacceptable to eat our pet cats and dogs.So why do you feel its ok to eat farm animals?

Good ?… alot of ppl say they like animals, but don’t really think about what happens to those cows, pigs & chickens b4 they end up on their plates.

Just accept the cultural difference?

I’d just accept it. Different cultures eat different things and ours is a multiculturalist society after all. Besides, there’s lot of different countries that make up the Pacific Islands, and I doubt this is a common custom for most of them.

That said, buying/eating an animal from a butcher or grocery store is one thing–but eating something they’ve raised?? Seems a little unusual unless you live on a ranch, in a trailer or a cave.

Why do pet dogs like dads in families best?

Posted on May 29th, 2010 by admin

All of my friends have told met that their dogs like their dads best in the family. Why?

I’ve never known that to be the case. Dogs get most attached to the person who is their main care-giver; the person who feeds, grooms, walks, trains and plays with them the most. So the only way they’d get most attached to the dad is if that’s who spent the most time doing things with them.

Imagine a "vet" who doesn’t even know how to spell and actually expecting anyone at all to believe they’re a vet!

Before commerical food was on the shelves, what did people feed their pet dogs?

Posted on May 9th, 2010 by admin

Pet dogs have been around a lot longer than commericial food.

Did people feed raw (consistent with the prey model/BARF model or just random raw meat/organs?)?
Table scraps?

Depended on the owner. City folks fed table scraps or cooked even. Some country folks fed table scraps and whatever the dog caught he ate. True country folk would take their dogs hunting and feed them the entrails and sinews and bones they didn’t want as well as what the dogs caught and table scraps. Some of the lines my dogs come from were eating fresh from the butcher daily. :)
