actually, i didn’t …
actually, i didn’t make this list myself. this list was made by Kennel Club, an official dog breed organization. this list was made by many dog breed experts and trainers based on how many repetitions it took for a certain breed to master a new command. i guess they won’t make this list without any survey or observations. but this list can be subjective though.

i have to disagree …
i have to disagree with your video. it’s great but there are errors. i have 2 shetland sheepdogs and one had puppies…the only time they are hyper is when they are puppies and when you get them to play. and i believe they are much more smarter then golden retrievers. poodles should be #1 and shelties should be right behind them. but great video.

Have you been …
Have you been around many poodles?
They are very easy to train, as easy or easier than the best golden retrievers.
I say this as someone who had several golden retrievers, who appreciates their “intelligence,” but who is also open to appreciating other breeds’ “intelligence.”

Although I own a #4 …
Although I own a #4, I don’t think it’s fair to compare their abilities with less easily regimented breeds. Yes, they are easy to train, but I would never say that they are smarter than Afghan hounds. It’s like comparing Einstein to Shakespeare. Both are genius but are geniuses at different things.
