I’m looking for a website that lists free dogs or dogs to sale. can anyone help?

My brother-in-law had a kidney transplant and heart surgery and is no longer able to work. He would love to have a small, housebroke dog to keep him company. Does anyone know any websites where I might find him a dog to love?
Use the web resource www.petfinder.com. According to the information you enter, it displays information about available dogs in your area shelters. Many shelters charge for the animals, but remember that they have provided food shelter, any needed vet care, and neutering. The shelters do not make money. The amount they charge probably doesn’t even cover the costs that they incur.
Do rescue a dog needing another chance. Believe me (I have had 3 shelter dogs) they are very appreciative when they can find a good new home.

you could try a local animal shelter’s website if your dog isn’t required to be a purebreed of some sort.
