isn’t there a website that provides the list of dogs on sale based on the location?

BASED on the LOCATION (state)
because I don’t want the dog to be shipped nor do I want to pay the shipping charges..
I am in California by the way. and I can’t adopt homeless puppies ..unfortunately they will go to more responsible and more stable family.
I would try Petfinder.com you can put in your area and what kind of pet you are looking. This will have rescue and shelter pets that are in need of adoption. There is also http://infodog.com/ which will list rescue groups in your area and breeders not puupy mills.

I don’t even understand what your last statement means. If you aren’t stable enough to adopt homeless pups, why would someone trust you to adopt others?

I would reccomend http://www.pennysaverusa.com and http://www.recycler.com these are websites where you can find pets for sale here in california but be careful make sure that you ask as many questions as you can if they are really reputable breeders they won’t mind being asked a lot of questions.

There are literally hundreds of thousands of homeless dogs and puppies, in California shelters and rescues. If you are not a "responsible and stable" family/home, then you should not buy OR adopt a dog. From anywhere
