What are the symptoms of strep infection in dogs?

And don’t tell me to take the dog to the vet please. If you do so, you make an ass of yourself.

I don’t have a dawg, cowboys.
W…is curiousity an acceptable reason to you? Or do I need to get permission from the yahoo answers nazis to be curious? A special permit, perhaps.

Strep infection? I’ve never had that experience with dogs. I have had dogs with staph infection. If you don’t have a dog,why are you asking?

edit: If you are that curious,Google your questions so you can find more educated information.

I believe the symptoms are alot like humans cough sore throat
    Its a bacterial infection.
There are many kinds that humans and dogs can get and some if not all can be passed from each other.
Some are capable of causing disease in both humans and dogs as well.
The test your vet does ONLY tells you if this type is dangerous

YOUR vet must get a sample of your dogs throat mucus to a microbiology lab,
The way it grows and how fast it grows will tell your vet the type. of strep your dog has. And can treat.
