what would be my dogs symptoms?

my dog bred with another she will 3 weeks pregnant on friday.can any one tell me what her symptoms would be at this stage. Her nipples now look perky and not flat.
She might not show for another couple of weeks. Pregnancy should be around 60-64 days. Symptoms at this stage may simply be reduced activity and increased appetite. Physically you might not notice anything until around day 40.
Are you sure you should be breeding her, if you don’t know very much? It’s risky to her and only contributes to pet overpopulation.

Her stomach should also start to get hard with in the next week and her nipples may be swollen looking from hormones, Dogs that are seperated before they tie usually dont get pregnant but if you found your dog tied (where the males penis enlarges and blows up like a balloon leaving his penis stuck in the female) from 5-45 min Dogs that have tied have a 99% chance of pregnancy.

my rottweiler just had some pups she didnt even look like she was pregnant till she was about five weeks along. thats about when they deffinitly start to gain some weight. other then that she just might have some differences in her moods or sleeping all the time and sometimes urinating in the house.

She may have a substancial increase in appetite. After 30 days, you can get an ultra-sound done (not good for a head count), and about 50 days you can get an x-ray done.
typical gestation for canines is 58-63 days.

There would be no ’symptoms’ of pregnancy. The ’signs’ of pregnancy are swollen/enlarged mammory glands, increased appetite, swollen/enlarged abdomen, etc. However, three weeks along isn’t far enough to be able to tell visually if she is pregnant. At or about five weeks, you should be able to tell visually. Unfortuantely, even if she ‘looks’ pregnant, there is still the possibility of a false pregnancy. At 30 days post heat, you can have a blood test performed at your local vet’s office to confirm pregnancy. You may also find this website very informative – http://www.debbiejensen.com

A dogs pregnancy term is between 60 and 64 days gestation. If her nipples are already perky i’d say she should be just around 8 to 12 weeks in gestation. She shouldn’t have any other symptoms this early, the pups are not moving yet. She may have gained a bit of weight but thats about it. Once she reaches about 40 days gestation she should be pretty heavy around the midsection, She may eat more and may not be as active. But remember just like humans dogs need to be kept on a regular prenatal check-ups. If their are complications the vet can know way ahead of time, and prepare for them. A dog can have many fatal comlications during labor and birth, although most go pretty smoothly. Just keep a good eye on her…..
sorry I have to cut this short, my son just woke up lol
