I might be getting one and I’m kinda concerned at the care I’ll need to take because of the length of their fur . Could you shave it off or something so it’ll be less trouble?

Yes, they have long hair. Why not get a dog with short hair instead of shaving a Maltese, it is their hair that makes them
pretty.

   Yes Maltese are white with long silky hair. You can trim it to make it look nice.And put ribbons on her head.

   They all have a lot of fur. If you want one without it, find another breed that will suit your tastes. A short haired Chihuahua would be good.
