All dogs are different, it doesnt matter what breed age etc.
You can only know if you try them out

Any dog can get along with a cat if they are introduced properly.
If you plan on starting with a puppy, then the puppy will grow up around the cat and it will be normal for him/her.
If you plan on adopting an adult dog, try finding a breeder who has cats around the dogs so the dog will already be accustomed to them.
As far as your cat getting along with the new dog… that’ll take some time, but eventually they’ll work out an arrangement that suits them

It depends on the critters. But we’ve had cats and dogs of various breeds in the household together, and never had too much trouble with them.
