   Maltese’s; they are such a beautiful little dog:

   Height: Males 8-10 inches, females 8-9 inches
   Weight: from 6½-9 pounds.

   I have a shihtzu maltese mix. sparky is 5 months old and is about 7 or 8 pounds. my dog book says maltese get to be about 10 pounds and are about the size of a house cat.what sparky lacks in size he’s made up for it in heart and nerve
